Gores Team

The Gores organization currently consists of professionals with broad experience in M&A and Operations. These professionals, with prior backgrounds in the technology, private equity, corporate development, investment banking, legal and finance professions, have led or managed investments in the technology, telecommunications, business services, telephony, industrial, media, retail and consumer products sectors, among others.

Gores professionals bring together a variety of disciplines, including:

Angela Blatteis

Investment Advisory Group
Consultant

Angela Blatteis has been an independent contractor to Gores through her firm, Investment Advisory Group, since 1995. Mrs. Blatteis is responsible for acquisition, due diligence and structuring of certain investments. Mrs. Blatteis has been a member of Gores' M&A Group since 1996, predominantly focusing on the execution of acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to working with Gores, Mrs. Blatteis held Vice President positions at Merrion Group, PLC and at Special Situation Investment Fund (an affiliate of Brooke Group Limited), responsible for financial analysis primarily of distressed or non-performing securities. Prior thereto, Mrs. Blatteis was a Senior Financial Analyst at Cowen & Co. and an Associate in the M&A department of First Boston. Mrs. Blatteis earned her B.A. in Political Science and Economics from the University of California at Berkeley and her M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business of the University of Chicago.

Ashley W. Abdo

Managing Director

Mr. Abdo, has been a member of Gores' management team since 2000. Mr. Abdo has over 20 years business experience including the direct management of companies, as well as leading M&A activities on behalf of Gores. Mr. Abdo recently served as CEO and Managing Director of Real Software (Gores portfolio company) where he lead a successful restructuring and turn-around of the business culminating in the acquisition of its largest local competitor. Mr. Abdo remains as Chairman of Real Software. He is an M&A executive for Gores in Europe in addition to serving as an officer of a number of Gores portfolio holding companies and portfolio company boards. Mr. Abdo previously served as President and CEO of Aonix Corporation, Select Business Solutions and President and CEO of Jamis Software Corporation (Gores portfolio companies). Prior to this, Mr. Abdo worked for Per-Se Technologies, Inc., where he was responsible for new business development in the western and central United States. Mr. Abdo began his career in 1986 with VERSYSS, Inc., where he held various sales and management positions. Mr. Abdo has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado and resides in Zürich, Switzerland.

Joe Awad

Counsel

Mr. Awad is involved in many legal functions, including the negotiation and execution of acquisitions, divestitures, debt financings, and general corporate matters. Mr. Awad received his B.S. in Biological Science from the University of California, Irvine, and his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.

Alan Byrne

Glendon Partners
Vice President, Human Resources

Mr. Byrne is responsible for overseeing all Human Resources activities for portfolio companies in addition to actively participating in due diligence on new investment opportunities. Mr. Byrne was hired by Gores in January 2000 as Vice President/HR for the Learning Company. When the Learning Company sold in 2002, he joined Gores overseeing all assimilation activities for the portfolio companies. Mr. Byrne started his HR career in banking in Northern California, later joining Broderbund software. Mr. Byrne received a BA from San Francisco State University.

James R. Bailey

Senior Advisor

Mr. Bailey, former President of Gores Operations, was previously a senior member of Gores' due diligence and restructuring team. Mr. Bailey joined Gores in 1997 and has over 20 years of experience in all facets of the software and hardware industries. Previously, Mr. Bailey served as Senior Vice President of Physician Computer Network, Inc. In addition, Mr. Bailey was Chief Operating Officer of the Flagship Group, Inc., and President and CEO of the Calyx Corporation. In 1979, Mr. Bailey began his career in sales at IBM after earning his B.A., B.S. and A.A.S. from the University of Wyoming.

Catherine Babon Scanlon, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Scanlon is responsible for overseeing the financial management of Gores and its Portfolio Companies. Ms. Scanlon joined Gores in 1996 and is responsible for all corporate tax matters and leading Gores' financial due diligence teams. Ms. Scanlon has extensive experience in international tax matters and structuring complex M&A transactions. Prior to joining Gores, Ms. Scanlon was a partner with Freedman & Goldberg, a certified public accounting firm located in Detroit, Michigan. Ms. Scanlon earned her B.S. in Accounting from Western Michigan University.

Bryan Bender

Associate, Business Development

Mr. Bender is responsible for identifying and targeting stand-alone and strategic add-on acquisitions. He maintains relationships with key decision makers in Fortune 500 companies, technology and telecom companies, investment bankers and other intermediaries. Mr. Bender has been with Gores since 2001 and has been instrumental in identifying and evaluating numerous acquisition candidates including the acquisition of Pierce Technology Services from Forgent Networks, Inc. Mr. Bender has over 10 years of Business Development experience within the computer software and hardware industries. Mr. Bender received his B.A. from the University of California, Irvine.

Anthony Chirikos

Vice President

Mr. Chirikos is involved in the evaluation and execution of potential Gores opportunities. Prior to joining Gores, Mr. Chirikos was an analyst at Jefferies & Company, Inc., where he focused primarily on leveraged finance transactions in the gaming, consumer products and manufacturing sectors. Mr. Chirikos graduated summa cum laude from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with a B.S. in Economics and a dual concentration in Finance and Decision Processes.

David Chouraqui

Associate

Mr. Chouraqui is involved in the origination, evaluation and execution of investment opportunities in Europe. He develops and maintains relationships with European corporate sellers, operational partners, management teams and investment bankers. Prior to joining Gores, he has been with L'Oreal Professionnel, working to develop business plans and opportunities in Eastern Europe. He also has other international business development experience in Mexico with Maybelline and worked in the M&A department of LCF Rothschild in Paris. Mr Chouraqui graduated from the HEC School of Management in France and received an Entrepreneurship specialization from HEC Entrepreneurship Program.

Leslie E. Cook

Glendon Partners
Vice President, Technology

Mr. Cook oversees IT activities for Portfolio Companies in addition to actively participating in due diligence on new investment opportunities. Mr. Cook has worked with the Gores team or its Portfolio Companies since 1993 and has extensive experience in managing application software development, programming and quality assurance. Mr. Cook was Vice President of Development at Artemis Management Systems, where he was responsible for coordinating the development, testing and release of all Artemis application software. Prior to Artemis, Mr. Cook held senior development positions with Applicon and Manufacturing Data Systems. Mr. Cook holds a B.S in Mathematics from Georgetown College. He has also completed post-graduate work in engineering mechanics and computer science at the University of Kentucky.

Vance W. Diggins

Senior Advisor

Mr. Diggins, former President and CEO of Gores, has over 20 years of operating experience in technology and related sectors and has worked with Mr. Gores for nearly 20 years. Mr. Diggins has a proven record of success in the transformation of technology companies. In 1983, Mr. Diggins joined EBS as a sales representative. Since that time, Mr. Diggins has been instrumental in building the current organization's management team and infrastructure. In 1980, Mr. Diggins began his career in sales management at Burroughs Corporation. Mr. Diggins earned his B.A. in Business Administration from Michigan State University.

Alec E. Gores

Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Alec Gores is the founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Gores Group, a Los Angeles based private equity firm focused on acquiring controlling interest in mature and growing businesses which benefit from the firm's operating experience and expertise and its flexible capital base.

Mr. Gores began his career as a self-made entrepreneur and operating executive. In 1978, he self-funded and founded Executive Business Systems (EBS), a developer and distributor of vertical business software systems. Within seven years, EBS had become a leading value-added reseller in Michigan and employed over 200 people. In 1986, CONTEL purchased EBS and Mr. Gores subsequently began acquiring and operating non-core businesses from major corporations and building value in those entities, a decision that ultimately led to the founding of what has evolved into The Gores Group.

Under his leadership, The Gores Group is continuing to implement that successful strategy by acquiring businesses with enterprise values in the $200 million to $ 3 billion range, focusing on creating value and working with management to create an entrepreneurial environment as a foundation for sustainable growth. This philosophy has served the firm well. Since 1987 over 70 businesses have been successfully acquired. The current portfolio includes over twelve companies world-wide with combined annual revenues in the billions of dollars.

Mr. Gores holds a degree in computer science from Western Michigan University and lives in the Los Angeles area.

Daniel J. Gray

Director, Business Development

Mr. Gray manages the Business Development Group at Gores, which is responsible for originating and assessing stand-alone and strategic add-on acquisitions. The Business Development Group maintains relationships with key decision makers in Fortune 500 companies, technology and telecom companies, investment bankers and other intermediaries. Mr. Gray has been with Gores since 1997 and has played a major role in originating and qualifying Gores' acquisitions. Prior to joining Gores, Mr. Gray was a manager in the Business Development Group at Ruesch International, a foreign currency trading and trade finance firm, with responsibility for developing business with and executing foreign trading for technology clients. Prior thereto, Mr. Gray worked as a Financial Consultant with New England Securities. Mr. Gray received his B.S. in Economics & Business from Westmont College.

Eric Hattler

Executive Vice President & General Counsel

Mr. Hattler is responsible for all legal aspects of Gores' business, including negotiation and execution of the company's transactions. Mr. Hattler's principal background is in mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate law. Prior to joining the Gores team in 1998, Mr. Hattler worked at Riordan & McKinzie, a Los Angeles-based law firm specializing in complex corporate transactions, where he represented a number of merchant banking concerns and emerging growth companies. From 1988 to 1989, Mr. Hattler served as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney, focusing on operational issues. Mr. Hattler earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Amherst College, where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa, and received his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Chicago.

Scott M. Honour

Senior Managing Director

Mr. Honour is responsible for originating and structuring transactions and pursuing strategic initiatives at Gores. Prior to joining Gores in 2002, Mr. Honour led a career as an investment banker with a focus on creating, structuring, financing and executing financial sponsor-led transactions. From 2001 to 2002, Mr. Honour served as a Managing Director at UBS Warburg, where he was responsible for relationships with technology-focused financial sponsors, including Gores, and created the firm's Transaction Development Group, which brought transaction ideas to financial sponsors, including Gores. Prior to joining UBS Warburg, Mr. Honour was an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he executed a variety of mergers and acquisitions, high yield financing, equity offering and restructuring assignments. Mr. Honour also served as a Vice President in DLJ's Merchant Banking Group from 1995 to 1997. Prior to joining DLJ, Mr. Honour served as an analyst at Trammell Crow Company. Mr. Honour earned his B.S. in Business Administration and B.A. in Economics, cum laude, from Pepperdine University, and his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with an emphasis in finance and marketing.

Jordan W. Katz

Managing Director

Mr. Katz is responsible for leading the execution and negotiation of certain Gores acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to joining Gores in 2002, Mr. Katz was a member of the Financial Sponsors Group of UBS Warburg's Los Angeles office, where he focused on providing coverage to private equity firms and originating new transaction ideas. Prior to UBS Warburg, Mr. Katz was a founding member of eVolution Global Partners, a venture capital firm founded by Texas Pacific Group, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Bain & Co. Mr. Katz began his career at Colony Capital, an international private equity firm focused on real estate-related investments. Mr. Katz graduated from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics and a concentration in Finance. Mr. Katz is a member of the board of directors of United Road Services.

Timothy Meyer

Managing Director

Mr. Meyer is responsible for leading operational due diligence efforts as well as working with portfolio company executive teams to achieve operational full potential. Prior to joining the Gores team in 2005, Mr. Meyer was VP of Sales Operations at Gateway, Inc., responsible for business unit operations, indirect channel program development and execution, as well as business unit strategy development and execution. Before his role in Sales Operations, Mr. Meyer successfully transformed the services, enterprise products, and software & peripherals business as VP and GM of Business Services. He also led the execution of key corporate wide initiatives related to strategy, organizational alignment and performance, and was a core team member in the acquisition and integration of eMachines. Previous to Gateway, Mr. Meyer spent five years with Bain & Company in the United States and Australia. While at Bain, he worked in over 10 different industries, developing corporate and business unit growth strategies, and operational improvement programs for Fortune 500 clients. Mr. Meyer earned an MBA in Entrepreneurial Finance from The Wharton School and a BA in Finance from Texas A & M University where he was a Fellow in the College of Business.

Joseph P. Page

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Page is a member of Gores' operating due diligence and portfolio management team. Mr. Page has extensive experience in various operating and finance roles. Prior to joining Gores, Mr. Page was Senior Principal and Chief Operating Officer for Shelter Capital Partners a $200 million private investment fund. Previous to that he held various senior executive positions with several private and public companies controlled by Ronald O. Perelman's holding company, MacAndrews & Forbes (M&F). While at M&F, he was Vice Chairman of Panavision, CFO of The Coleman Company and CFO of New World Communications. Prior to M&F, Mr. Page was a Partner at Price Waterhouse. Mr. Page has a BS in Accounting and MBA from Loyola Marymount University of Los Angeles.

Shawne Schorvitz

Controller

Ms. Schorvitz is responsible for the oversight and reporting for all the Fund entities. Prior to joining Gores, Ms. Schorvitz spent nine years at Frontenac Company, a Chicago based private equity investment firm where she was the Controller. Ms. Schorvitz earned her BS in Accountancy from DePaul University.

Mark R. Stone

Senior Managing Director

Mr. Stone has responsibility for Gores' worldwide operations group, oversight of all Gores portfolio companies and operational due diligence efforts. Mr. Stone joined Gores in 2005 from Sentient Jet, the leading provider of private jet membership and three-time recipient of the Robb Report's "Best of the Best in Travel Services" distinction, where he served as CEO. Prior to Sentient Jet, Mr. Stone served as CEO of Narus, a global telecommunication software company and Sentex Systems, an international security and access control manufacturing company. Mr. Stone was Corporate General Manager of Citysearch (now an operating business of IAC/InterActiveCorp, NASDAQ: IACI), a multi-billion dollar new media organization. Mr. Stone spent five years with the Boston Consulting Group, a global strategy and operations consulting firm, as a member of their high technology and industrial goods practices - serving in BCG's Boston, London, Los Angeles and Seoul, Korea offices. Mr. Stone holds an MBA in Finance and Multinational Management from The Wharton School and a B.S. in Finance with Computer Science and Mathematics concentrations from the University of Maine.

R. Britton Terrell

Mergers and Acquisitions

Mr. Terrell is responsible for managing relationships with debt financing sources and executing debt financings for new Gores leveraged acquisitions. Mr. Terrell joined the Gores team in 2002 from Foothill Capital Corporation, where he was the headquarters' Underwriting and Closing Manager. Prior to joining Foothill, Mr. Terrell was with Coast Business Credit, where he was Vice President and Team Leader of the Telecom and Technology portfolio. Mr. Terrell graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. degree in Business Economics in 1986.

Ryan Wald

Managing Director

Mr. Wald is responsible for the negotiation, structuring and execution of certain Gores acquisitions, divestitures and financing activities. In addition, Mr. Wald is involved in the evaluation and sourcing of new opportunities. Prior to joining Gores in 1999, Mr. Wald was in CIBC Oppenheimer's investment banking group; where he worked on a variety of assignments, including public equity and debt security underwritings, mergers and acquisitions, and other financial advisory assignments. Mr. Wald received his B.B.A in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Wald is a member of the board of directors of Diagnostic Health Corporation, Enterasys Networks, Global Tel*Link Corporation, Lineage Power Corporation and Wire One Communications, Inc.

Ian R. Weingarten

Managing Director

Mr. Weingarten joined Gores in 2002 and is currently a Managing Director at the firm. He has significant experience in private equity investing and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Weingarten had been an investment professional at Apollo Management, L.P. as well as a private investment firm investing capital for two high net worth families. Mr. Weingarten also was a member of the investment banking groups at UBS Warburg and Goldman Sachs. Mr. Weingarten graduated summa cum laude from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with a B.S. in Economics and a dual concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management.

Steven C. Yager

Senior Managing Director

Mr. Yager is responsible for acquisition, due diligence and structuring of new Gores investments. Prior to joining Gores, Mr. Yager served as the President and CEO of Artemis International Solutions Corporation (a Portfolio Company from 1997-2000), where he led a turnaround and restructuring initiative and was responsible for several mergers and acquisitions, including the purchase of Software Productivity Research, Inc. and the merger with Opus360 Corporation, as well as orchestrating the sale of Artemis to Proha Oyj, a publicly-traded Finnish software maker. From 1994 to 1996, Mr. Yager served as the Executive Vice President of Business Development for Medaphis Physician Services Corporation. Mr. Yager earned a B.A. in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Michigan.

Alisa Decker

Associate

Ms. Decker is involved in the evaluation and execution of potential Gores' acquisitions. Prior to joining Gores in 2005, Ms. Decker began her career at CIBC World Markets as an Analyst in the Leveraged Finance Group, where she focused on financial sponsors as well as transactions in the gaming and lodging sectors. Ms. Decker received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Computer Science, with honors, from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California.

Annie Chau

Vice President

Ms. Chau is involved in the evaluation and execution of potential Gores opportunities. Prior to joining Gores, Ms. Chau began her career at Merrill Lynch as an Analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Ms. Chau received her B.A. with Honors in Economics and M.S. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.

Andrew Freedman

Managing Director

Mr. Freedman is a member of the operating due diligence and portfolio management team. Mr. Freedman has over 20 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Prior to joining the Gores team in 2002, Mr. Freedman was CFO of The Learning Company where he helped lead a successful turnaround and sale of the company. Mr. Freedman has 8 years of experience in the consumer software industry holding various financial management roles at The Learning Company, Broderbund Inc. and Mindscape Inc. where he was involved in several successful turnarounds and divestitures from 1994 to 2002. From 1988 to 1994, Mr. Freedman held various financial management positions at Paramount Communications, including Director of Finance, where he was responsible for internal and SEC reporting for this $4 billion company. Prior to 1988, Mr. Freedman spent 4 years in public accounting. Mr. Freedman earned a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton.

Fernando Goni

Principal

Mr. Goni is involved in the evaluation and execution of potential Gores opportunities. Prior to joining Gores, Mr. Goni was an Associate at Morgan Stanley, where he worked on a large number of M&A executions, covering the following industries: Media & Telecoms, Real Estate, Chemicals and Building Materials. Mr. Goni began his career as a consultant at the Business Consulting unit of Arthur Andersen. Mr. Goni holds a BSc. (Econ) in Economics (First Class Honours) and an MSc. in Economics from the London School of Economics. Mr. Goni serves on the board of WStore Europe SA (acquirer of Inmac) and Sagem Communications.

Kurt W. Hans

Glendon Partners
Vice President, Tax

Kurt W. Hans leads the tax due diligence effort focusing on legal structure optimization, tax exposure analysis, and tax accounting and efficiency modeling. Mr. Hans also oversees the tax compliance, tax audit, and tax planning functions of all portfolio companies. Prior to his employment with the Gores team, Mr. Hans worked for Arthur Andersen LLP and KPMG LLP where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, international corporate taxation, and partnership taxation while serving the venture capital, telecommunications and hi-tech industries. Mr. Hans earned his B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Finance at Colorado State University. Mr. Hans earned his Masters of Taxation at the University of Denver.

Anne Potts Phillips

VP of Internal Audit and Risk Management

Anne Potts Phillips, CPA, is responsible for overseeing the Internal Audit and Risk Management function within the Gores portfolio companies. Ms. Phillips joined the Gores team in 1998 and has served in various finance roles within both the operations and M&A teams. Ms. Phillips has extensive experience in International GAAP, financial statement presentation, and accounting and internal control procedures. Prior to joining Gores, Ms. Phillips held audit positions with several public accounting firms.

Frank V. Stefanik

Executive Vice President, Marketing and Business Development

Mr. Stefanik oversees Gores' marketing and business development activities, including maintaining relationships with key decision makers in Fortune 500 companies, and identifying and qualifying new acquisition opportunities. Prior to holding his current position at Gores, Mr. Stefanik served as President and CEO of Applicon, a Portfolio Company acquired in 1993, where he successfully executed an operational turnaround. Over the past 25 years, Mr. Stefanik has held a variety of sales, marketing and executive management positions in high technology companies, including Numerical Control Inc., Cleveland Pneumatic, Valisys and McDonnell Douglas Information Systems Group. Mr. Stefanik served as CEO of Health Systems Company, a $250 million division of McDonnell Douglas Information Systems Group. Mr. Stefanik received both his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Marketing from St. Louis University.

Roderick Sherwood, III

Chief Financial Officer, Operations

Mr. Sherwood is responsible for leading GOG finance operations as well as working with portfolio company executive teams to achieve full operational and financial potential. Prior to joining Gores in 2005, Mr. Sherwood was Senior VP & Chief Financial Officer with Gateway, responsible for overall financial and cost structure, corporate financial control, planning and analysis, capital raising and other Treasury activities, Internal Audit and investor communications. Accomplishments include eMachines acquisition, major cost reduction programs and systematizing financial control processes and procedures. Mr. Sherwood has over 25 years experience in successful financial and operations capacities for companies such as Chrysler Corporation, Loudcloud/Opsware and Hughes Electronics Corporation (including Chairman of Hughes Investment Management Company, CFO of Hughes Telecommunications and Space, EVP of DIRECTV International and President/General Manager of Spaceway-Hughes Network Systems). He earned a MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business and received his Honors Bachelor of Arts degree, with Distinction, in Economics from Stanford University.

Eric Harnish

Managing Director

Mr. Harnish is responsible for portfolio company financial oversight and controls and financial due diligence activities. Prior to joining the Gores team in 2006, Mr. Harnish was Executive VP & Chief Financial Officer with MaintenanceNet, Inc., responsible for securing funding and the management of finance, accounting and legal activities. Previous to MaintenanceNet, Inc., Mr. Harnish spent over four years as a finance executive with Gateway, Inc. including positions of Vice President of Finance and Division CFO of the $1.5B+ Professional Division. Mr. Harnish has over 20 years experience in successful financial and marketing capacities for companies such as Honeywell International and Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Mr. Harnish earned an MBA from The University of Michigan and received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from The University of Illinois.

Karen M. Wagoner

Tax Manager

Ms. Wagoner serves as a tax resource to the Gores portfolio companies in the areas of tax compliance, tax audit and accounting for income taxes in accordance with accounting requirements for financial statement reporting. Ms. Wagoner also supports the tax due diligence regarding the mergers and acquisitions of Gores. Prior to her employment with the Gores team, Ms. Wagoner worked for several companies including Arthur Young where she performed audit functions and also served clients as a tax manager. Most recently she was tax manager with a technology company where she managed the accounting for income taxes, income tax compliance, other tax compliance, and tax planning functions. Ms. Wagoner earned her B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Colorado.

Joakim Carlsson

Associate

Mr. Carlsson is involved in the origination, evaluation and execution of European investment opportunities. He develops and maintains relationships with corporate sellers, investment banks, and management teams. Prior to joining Gores in 2006, Mr. Carlsson was a Senior Analyst at KPMG Transaction Services in London executing Commercial Due Diligence for clients in the technology and telecommunications sectors. Prior to KPMG, Mr. Carlsson was a consultant for Look Closer AB, an M&A risk advisory firm based in Stockholm. David E. Schlais

Mr. Schlais is responsible for identifying, originating and qualifying new investment opportunities. Mr. Schlais joined Gores as an intern in January of 2005 while earning his Masters in Business Administration. Mr. Schlais was responsible for compiling research reports, preparing marketing materials and creating industry analysis for the Business Development team and spent a semester abroad at Tsinghua University researching the Chinese Private Equity market. Mr. Schlais earned a B.S. in English from Pepperdine University and his M.B.A. from the Graziadio School of Business & Management of Pepperdine University.

Jon Gimbel

Vice President, M & A

Mr. Gimbel is responsible for the negotiation and execution of certain Gores acquisitions, divestitures and financing activities in addition to originating new investment opportunities. Prior to joining Gores in 2002, Mr. Gimbel was an analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions and leveraged finance transactions in the Media and Telecommunications group. Mr. Gimbel graduated with honors from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.

Dewey H. Turner, III

Mr. Turner came to Glendon Partners from Crane Aerospace, where he served as SVP of Global Sourcing and Manufacturing responsible for creation and implementation of global sourcing strategies and operations. Prior to joining Crane Aerospace, Mr. Turner served five years as Chief Executive and General Manager of Precision Components International, Inc. (PCI), a diversified provider of turbine airfoils to the aerospace and industrial gas turbine markets, including semi-finished components supplier to the medical orthopedic implant industry. During his five years as General Manager of PCI, Mr. Turner aggressively diversified the company to reduce dependency on aerospace, enhancing shareholder value with the addition of business in medical, recreational and industrial gas turbine market segments. Prior to his role as General Manager in PCI, Mr. Turner lead transformational efforts as a Business Manager with full P&L responsibility in three different units, achieving significant "turn-around" performance in strategic and financial metrics. Mr. Turner acquired essential skills in transformational lean deployment through twelve years with United Technologies - Pratt & Whitney and working with members of the Shingijutsu Consulting Group in various technical, leadership and continuous improvement roles. Mr. Turner earned a M.B.A. from the University of Liverpool and a B.A. from Columbus State University.

Toni Seaberry

Ms. Seaberry is involved in the oversight of all Gores' portfolio companies and operational due diligence efforts. Prior to joining Glendon Partners in 2007, Ms. Seaberry began her career at UBS Investment Bank as an analyst in the Global Media Group in New York City, where she focused on leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations in the cable sector. Ms. Seaberry received her Bachelor of Arts with distinction from Princeton University, completing a dual concentration in French and Economics.

Thomas Eberle

Mr. Eberle is involved in the evaluation and execution of Gores investment opportunities. Prior to joining Gores, Mr. Eberle worked as a Senior Associate at The Parthenon Group, a strategic advisory firm. During this time he provided strategic due diligence services for private equity firms and advised corporations across a range of industries on general strategy, portfolio transactions, pricing and operational turnarounds. Mr. Eberle graduated from the University of Cambridge.

Michael F. Brandt

Mr. Brandt, based in the London, UK office, is responsible for leading operational due diligence efforts as well as working with portfolio company executive teams to achieve operational full potential. Prior to joining Glendon in 2007, Mr. Brandt spent over 20 years in operational roles in multi-national corporations. Mr. Brandt spent 8 years at Cargill, Incorporated, the largest privately owned corporation in the USA, in the areas of commodities trading and risk management in the USA, purchasing and supply chain management on the corporate staff, strategic planning and business development in Mexico, and manufacturing management in England, Wales and the USA. Mr. Brandt spent 15 years at The Valspar Corporation, a global leader in the paint, coatings and specialty chemicals industry in a series of general management and executive positions, accomplishing several significant turn-arounds of challenged businesses and integration of acquisitions. Mr. Brandt's position just prior to joining Glendon was as Corporate Vice President and President of the Europe, Middle East, Africa and India region of Valspar based in Zurich, Switzerland. Mr. Brandt earned a MBA degree in Finance at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS degree from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California.

Michael H. Truex

Mr. Truex is involved in the evaluation and execution of potential opportunities for the Gores Group, LLC. Prior to joining Gores, Mr. Truex was an analyst at Banc of America Securities, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, and leveraged finance transactions in the Global Industries Group. Before his time at Banc of America Securities, Mr. Truex was an audit associate at KPMG LLP. Mr. Truex received his B.A. with Honors in Economics and International Relations from the University of California, Irvine, and his Masters of Accounting from the University of Southern California. Mr. Truex is a Certified Public Accountant.

Maximillian G. Lin

Mr. Lin is involved in the evaluation and execution of potential Gores opportunities. Prior to joining Gores, Mr. Lin began his career as an Analyst in Lehman Brothers' West Coast Financial Sponsors Group. Mr. Lin graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he received an M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering as a Graduate Fellow and a B.S. in Materials Engineering, summa cum laude.

Steven G. Eisner

Mr. Eisner is responsible for leading the legal affairs of the Fund and supporting/overseeing those of the Fund's portfolio companies. Prior to joining The Gores Group, Mr. Eisner spent eight years as Vice President of Development and Vice President of Legal Affairs at Ameristar Casinos, Inc., a leading owner and operator of regional casino entertainment properties throughout the United States. Mr. Eisner began his career with O'Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles where he spent five years in the Corporate Department working on mergers and acquisitions, corporate securities transactions and general corporate matters. Mr. Eisner earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The University of California Berkeley, with high honors, and a Juris Doctorate from The University of California Los Angeles School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif.

Andrew P. Bronstein

Mr. Bronstein is responsible for portfolio company financial oversight and controls and financial due diligence activities. He has over 25 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Before joining Gores in 2008, Mr. Bronstein was President of APB Consulting LLC, a consulting firm that solved complex financial and accounting issues and led acquisition due diligence for public and private companies. From 1992 to 2006, Mr. Bronstein was Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer of SunGard Data Systems Inc., a Fortune 500 software and services company. Accomplishments include leading the successful implementation of a worldwide financial reporting and forecasting system, assisting in due diligence and integration for over 100 domestic and international business acquisitions, participating as a key member of the executive management team that analyzed and completed an $11.3 billion leveraged buy-out of SunGard, and leading the successful implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley. Before 1992, Mr. Bronstein worked for Coopers & Lybrand, a predecessor of PricewaterhouseCoopers, as a senior manager and director of its high technology practice in Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Bronstein graduated with distinction from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Accounting and a concentration in Finance. He is a CPA.

Michael F. Nold

Mr. Nold is responsible for working with portfolio company executive teams to achieve operational full potential as well as leading operational due diligence efforts. Before joining Gores in 2008, Mr. Nold was VP Strategy & Corporate Development of Hewlett-Packard where he led key operational and growth initiatives for their Technology Solutions and Services divisions. Mr. Nold also co-led HP’s Corporate Strategy group which was responsible for blueprinting the company’s transformational roadmap and driving the priority programs. Previously, Mr. Nold held leadership positions, in strategy and marketing, at United Technologies and Avanex Corporation after serving as a management consultant with Bain & Company. He began his career at International Paper as an engineer and manufacturing production manager. Mr. Nold earned an MBA from The Wharton School, in finance and marketing, and a BSE in Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Victor C. Otley, III

Victor C. Otley, III is Senior Advisor – Healthcare, Mergers and Acquisitions at The Gores Group. Mr. Otley has over 25 years of healthcare IT and services experience and is a founding principle of Action Equity, LLC, a healthcare focused investment and consultancy firm. Previously, he was the Founder and CEO of IntelliCare, Inc. a health management and call center business focused on disease and care management. Prior to founding IntelliCare he held senior management positions at Medaphis Corporation (Per-Se Technologies), the largest provider of healthcare revenue management services in the United States, and Medical Management of New England, the largest provider of outsourced healthcare claims processing in New England. He began his career focused on healthcare IT at Northern Data Systems. Mr. Otley earned a BA in Economics from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.

Paul A. Cooley

Mr. Cooley is responsible for identifying and qualifying new stand-alone and add-on acquisition opportunities. Prior to joining Gores, Mr. Cooley served as the President and CEO of Proxicom Inc. (a Portfolio Company from 2004 - 2007), where he successfully executed an operational turnaround, was responsible for the merger and acquisition of Daou Systems as well as positioning Proxicom for the sale to iCrossing, a strategic company in the Interactive Marketing space. From 1997 to 2004, Mr. Cooley served as the Executive Vice President of Operations for the Americas with Artemis International, a former Gores company. Cooley was responsible for directing all business activities including sales, professional services, consulting, marketing and IT activities throughout North and South America. Mr. Cooley earned a B.S. in Business Management from Northern Michigan University and has over 26 years of operating experience in technology and related sectors.

Eric J. Tis

Mr. Tis is responsible for portfolio company financial oversight and controls and financial and operational due diligence activities. Prior to joining the Gores team in 2008, Mr. Tis was a Director with KPMG’s Transaction Services practice. Mr. Tis has lead accounting and financial due diligence for strategic clients and financial sponsors on more than 50 engagements representing greater than $35 billion in transaction value. Prior to KPMG, Mr. Tis was an investment banker with Wells Fargo Securities and Montgomery Securities where he focused on a variety of merger and acquisition and corporate finance transactions. Mr. Tis earned a BS with an emphasis in marketing from Arizona State University and an MBA with an emphasis in finance from the University of Southern California.

David B. Leeney

Prior to joining Gores, Mr. Leeney spent 6 years in investor relations, representing Fortune 500 clients such as InBev, Adidas, MasterCard, Diageo, and InterContinental Hotels to both buy- and sell-side audiences. Mr. Leeney received a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.

Thomas T. Stone

Mr. Stone serves as a tax resource to the Gores portfolio companies in the areas of tax compliance, tax audit and accounting for income taxes in accordance with accounting requirements for financial statement reporting. Mr. Stone also supports the tax due diligence regarding the mergers and acquisitions of Gores. Prior to his employment with the Gores team, Mr. Stone worked for several companies including Arthur Andersen LLP. Most recently he was Tax Manager with a biotechnology company where he created and managed the North American internal tax function. Mr. Stone earned his Bachelor in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from Georgia State University and his Master in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.

Eugene Kim

Mr. Kim is responsible for portfolio company financial modeling as well as assisting in operational due diligence activities. Before joining Gores in 2009, Mr. Kim worked at the The Boston Consulting Group. While at BCG, Mr. Kim worked in a variety of different industries developing corporate strategy and operational improvement programs. Previous to BCG, Mr. Kim was a co-founder of a small retail chain specializing in granite countertops, Artistic Stone Inc. Previous to Artistic Stone, Mr. Kim was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for The Brown Schools, a wholly owned portfolio company of McCown De Leeuw, a $1.2 billion private equity fund. Mr. Kim was previously an investment associate at McCown De Leeuw and an investment banking analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mr. Kim holds an MBA in Marketing from The Wharton School and a BA from Dartmouth College.

Todd Tappin

Mr. Tappin is responsible for portfolio company financial management and financial due diligence activities. He is also responsible for portfolio-level management and reporting. Prior to joining Gores in 2009, Mr. Tappin was the founding CFO of Helio, a telecommunications company and the founding CFO of Overture, the pioneer in paid search. During his five years at Overture, Mr. Tappin helped lead the company from start up to over $1 billion in annual revenue. Prior to Overture, Mr. Tappin spent six years as a senior executive at News Corporation, where he ultimately held three simultaneous positions as the Senior Vice President of Finance for Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, the Senior Vice President of Finance for Fox Interactive, and General Manger for Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, Canada. Mr. Tappin began his career at Deloitte, Haskins and Sells and holds a B.S. in Business from the University of Colorado.

Kari Harmon

Ms. Harmon is responsible for development and implementation of global strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives, including related activities associated with portfolio company management and due diligence. Ms. Harmon came to Glendon Partners from Crane Aerospace, where she served most recently as Group Director of Global Strategic Sourcing. In this role she was responsible for group-wide global sourcing, contract negotiation, materials management, leveraged procurement strategy, procurement quality and component engineering teams, supplier performance and risk mitigation and support to site operations, engineering and finance. Her sourcing experience spans a broad array of direct material commodities as well as travel services, MRO, consulting and external engineering services. She was also active at the corporate level on the Supply Chain and Circuit Card Assembly Strategic Sourcing Councils. Prior to her role at Crane in Global Sourcing and Procurement, Ms. Harmon held progressively responsible roles in quality assurance, business process re-engineering and business system implementation over a period of ten years. Prior to Crane, Ms. Harmon worked for both General Dynamics and Martin Marietta as a Cost Analyst. Ms. Harmon earned a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Operations Management from Western Washington University and earned professional certifications from the Institute for Supply Management and APICS. For the last five years, she also served as Chairman of the Stack International Consortium, a cooperative professional organization of Aerospace and Technical industry leaders.

Tarek Kutrieh

Mr. Kutrieh is responsible for participating in operational due diligence efforts as well as working with portfolio company executive teams to achieve operational full potential. Prior to joining the Gores team in 2009, Mr. Kutrieh was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company where he worked in their Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Dubai offices. While at McKinsey, he led project teams that addressed business problems in the fields of Organizational Transformation, Sales and Marketing for a wide variety of Multinational and Private Equity clients. Previous to McKinsey, Mr. Kutrieh spent two years with The Walt Disney Company in their Broadcasting and Consumer Products divisions, where he held positions in Finance and Business Development. Mr. Kutrieh earned an MBA in Finance and Marketing from The Wharton School, where he was named a Palmer Scholar, as well as a BS in Electrical Engineering with Distinction from Purdue University.

Saad H. Hammad

Mr. Hammad, based in the London, UK office, is responsible for leading operational due diligence efforts as well as working with portfolio company executive teams to achieve full operational potential.

Prior to joining Glendon in 2009, Mr. Hammad was Chief Commercial Officer, at easyJet plc, one of the largest airlines in Europe where he was responsible for driving a major commercial turnaround, involving a doubling of revenue whilst delivering significant margin enhancement. Previously, he held a number of senior operational roles at multi-national corporations including Procter & Gamble, Thorn-EMI, Vision Express and Tibbett & Britten which involved significant turnarounds, performance improvement and corporate development. Mr. Hammad was also CEO of Autocascade, a pan-European web-based yield management start-up focused on the automotive sector. In addition, he spent three years with the Boston Consulting Group in London where he worked with top management of leading corporations on developing growth strategies and driving operational improvement programs. Mr. Hammad has also been a Non-Executive Director of Optos plc, the leading provider of medical retinal-imaging technology, where he was a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees.

Mr. Hammad holds an undergraduate degree from Oxford University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Raoul Bocchi

Mr. Bocchi is responsible for assisting in portfolio company performance improvement and operational due diligence activities in the overseas markets. Prior to joining Gores, Mr. Bocchi worked at Lehman Brothers in London as a Senior Associate in the Global Telecommunications and Industrial Corporate Finance groups. He began his career as a Consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants’ turn-around practice in Zurich and was involved in numerous restructurings in the technology, transportation and capital goods industries. Raoul holds an MBA with a Finance concentration from the London Business School and a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. He holds a Swiss and Italian passport and speaks fluently German, Italian and French.

Michael Nutting

Mr. Nutting is responsible for leading all financings and other capital markets activity for Gores' new investments and existing portfolio companies. Prior to joining Glendon, Mr. Nutting was a senior investment banker in Credit Suisse's Los Angeles office, where he maintained primary coverage responsibilities for a number of financial sponsor clients, including The Gores Group, and executed financings, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate transactions for financial sponsors and their portfolio companies. Previously, Mr. Nutting was an investment banker at Merrill Lynch and CIBC Oppenheimer. Mr. Nutting earned an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA, cum laude, in Economics-Accounting from Claremont McKenna College. Mr. Nutting also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
